Interlude: Blokes, (B)

about

One of our very earliest tracks was written after a highly unsuccessful social evening. Hamstall having returned from it tutted, "Birds eh? ... Tsk". Thus the mournful 10cc-inspired "Interlude: Birds, (A)" was named. The track was later given a vocal line by Helen Boulding, became "A Different Tide" and was the chilled conclusion to the Technostalgia album.

This is the companion track. If you've bought the EP, it's just here to lull you to sleep in front of the stereo so you'll feel like you won't be arsed to get up and change the record over.

Featuring the chilling recollections of an unknown war veteran over a simple bit of minimalist piano, it's not the usual Sundae Club fare.
