about

A track so named because it is almost symmetrical from end to end. We may just as well have called it "Brontosaurus".

Technostalgia is still the spirit of this EP. The perverse combination of up-to-the-minute technology with creaky old tat. The 'Techno' bit in this track is provided by a Yamaha Tenori-On, the LED-Matrix instrument beloved of Little Boots. We can't claim to be as cute, but we bought the batteries for it in a small branch of Boots the Chemist, so we feel we have a certain synchronicity. Funky chops from Dr "Funky Chops" Mille's "Tony Banks Model" Hammond can also be heard battling along with it, thus supplying the obligatory 'nostalgia'.

This track was written for the 2010 Cheltenham Jazz Festival's radio station.
